When we started filming, we assumed people would be interested in the château.
What surprised us was that they became interested in everything else.
The friendships. The celebrations. The disasters. The impossible projects. The dogs.
The endless stream of ideas that seem perfectly sensible until we actually try them. Over time, viewers stopped following a renovation. They started following a life.
A life filled with humour, history, uncertainty, unexpected detours and more than the occasional piece of chaos.
That is what Our Château Life has become. Not a story about restoring an old building.
A story about two people building a life together inside one.
